This episode may be unnecessary, but, for some reason, it was important to me to explain how Clayton ended up living in the attic. Plus, I'm pretty sure this one show character development. Unnecessary character development. I'm never sure how to handle the animal extras. Most of the regular animal characters wear clothes, so I usually draw some of the shelter pets with clothes and some of them running around as nature intended. This time, I thought it would be visually confusing to give each pet on a leash a cute little outfit, so I kept it simple.
