Clayton's little side comment on Clive showing up late is the kind of little joke I never would have had room for with the old, smaller format. When I was drawing this comic, I realized that Clayton does not wear a watch, but I did not want to scrap the joke. So I guess Clayton carries a pocket watch. Why not? Incidentally, you can't actually kill Cassidy's optimism. You can only make her readjust her perceptions.
