It's probably pretty obvious, but this comic is inspired by doing tech support for various relatives. Actually, it's pretty much ripped from my life. I wrote very little of this dialogue, the rest is direct quotes from real conversations. I was even interrupted from inking this by someone calling to ask me to explain the difference between clicking and right-clicking. A long time ago, I was complaining telling stories about helping with email. A friend made the "here's a stamp" joke, which I stole for today's punchline. Saying "here's a stamp" when someone can't use email has been a running gag ever since. I don't think the guy who first made this joke has any idea how his line lived on. Until today.
