DW Ch7 P20

The timing in this comic is a little tricky. The last three panels of the last page and the first two panels of this page all take about a second to occur. If you imagine them taking any longer than that, then you have to imagine that everyone is standing around stupidly, wondering why Yapix doesn't just cut his line or something. I thought about putting a little timer in the corner of each panel to show how instantaneous this chain of events is, but that seemed too distracting and a little unnecessary. I hope the timing doesn't seem off to all of you readers. Also: Look out! Alligators!

    Why doesn’t the wooden stump float? 😀

      Fair question. I imagine the stump will sink a bit until the resistance of the water cancels out the force of its fall, then it will float back up.

      Although it probably never should have made it that deep. Maybe it’s full of rocks or something.
