This trap is inspired by the Trapdoor Spider, which, as the name suggests, really does dig Team Rocket-style hole traps to catch prey. If you Google "Trapdoor Spider" you will find an alarming number of people trying to sell them. I went back and re-touched last week's page. I didn't like the way those spiders appeared out of the shadows, so I made them a bit more shrouded and transparent so their emergence would look more magical. I forgot to save a copy of the old version for comparison, so just trust me that the update is way better. I'm not doing so great at spending less time on these pages.
