Of course it was Decker who gave them up. Actually, I had written a longer flashback where Decker and BookKeeper were arrested and Decker tried to trade information on Draconis for a reduced sentence. But, Decker couldn't make a deal without his usual talking and double-talking and he drove Barker crazy. Regrettably, the conversation was too long and it would have added at least two pages to this scene, which is already a little heavy on the exposition. Maybe I'll find another place to share it with the readers.
