Nicholas was a minor character from a Dynamite and Detonator story I worked on when I was, maybe, 14. His original role was similar to his current one: he was Slasher's guard dog mentor. I few details about their relationship have changed, but the character is pretty much the same. I hadn't planned on ever bringing Nicholas back, but this story worked better with a mentor, so, I figured, "Why Not?"
