Full Moon Art Challenge 2022 – May

It’s time for May’s contribution to the Full Moon Art Challenge, the year long event where artists use the moon’s name as a prompt to draw one work of art each month, then share it during the full moon.

(See event page for rules and details) If you’re joining in, be sure to use the hashtag #FullMoonArtChallenge2022

Trivia: May’s moon was a very special one. Late Sunday night/Early Monday morning (depending on your timezone) there was a total lunar eclipse. It was also a Super Moon (a moon that appears larger) and a Blood Moon (a moon that appears reddish, due to the eclipse shadow.) Our skies were graced with a Super Flower Blood Moon Eclipse (which sounds a bit like a 90’s video game title.)
