   Why not?

   Well, besides disliking being unconscious and vulnerable, which I agree is a serious flaw, but as long as you expect to wake up again and suffer no harm in the interim, there’s nothing wrong with being knocked out for your plan.

   And if you can promise nice stuff if you are left unharmed. . . .

      That’s a fair point, I may need to go back and redo some of that dialogue.

      I know that Cloaker’s too suspicious to consent to being knocked out completely, even if he would allow himself to be held in Lyric’s bubble. However, the other characters haven’t had chance to learn that yet. Even with Flight’s intuition, I think she would need more time to figure out exactly where Cloaker draws the line.

      Actually, getting knocked unconscious is hardly a safe activity, and a person could get seriously harmed by it. Besides, Cloaker is a professional villain and they know it (even though they wouldn’t be aware of how paranoid he is like Draconis would), and no professional villain is going to allow himself to get knocked out if he could help it (especially by fellow villains). In their profession, that would be insane (Obviously depends on the circumstances, but there doesn’t seem to be enough reason here for Cloaker to do it.). A better question might be how can they be so sure Cloaker was knocked out?… (They may have seen him collapse, possibly.)
