Quick Announcement

Before we get into the newest moon art, I want to remind everyone that my Lunar Calendar for 2025 is for sale in my shop. It’s also 15% off during the three days closest to the full moon (Oct. 16th, 17th, and 18th.) Use the code FULLMOON to get the discount.

October and the Vintage Moon

For the vintage moon, we take the word back to it’s original meaning and celebrate vineyards and autumn wines.

Wine Month

By October, wine-making season is over and wine-enjoying season is just beginning. In olden times, October was considered the “Visiting month” in Germany and other parts of Europe. Sharing spirits among friends was an old tradition and many beer and wine festivals arose, partly thanks to this tradition. In my own home state of Pennsylvania, October is sometimes called “Wine Month.” (If you are local and haven’t heard this name yet, don’t worry, it’s mostly being pushed by wine makers and hasn’t really caught on with everyone …yet.)

Celebrate Autumn

Join us in November for the Autumn moon. Share your Autumn Moon art on November 14th, 15th, or 16ht, with the full moon rising on the 15th.
