A Night at the Toonseum – One More Summer Show

Okay, even though I already wrote my summer appearance wrap-up, it looks like I’m attending one more event before summer ends.

This Friday (September 11, 2015) I will be attending the opening reception for Drawn in Pittsburgh – an exhibit at the Pittsburgh Toonseum. The exhibit was built to display, promote, and celebrate the works of Pittsburgh cartoonists. I will have a page of Draconis Wicked on display as my contribution to the show.

The reception starts at 7:00pm and it is free and open to the public. Also, I’ve been asked to bring any of my current books for sale, so if you missed a chance to buy your own copy of the Draconis Wicked 32 page comic, you will be getting another chance.

What’s that? You’re already going to the comic con that day? The event was designed to sync up with Wizard World Comic Con, which is just just a few blocks away at the David L.Lawrence Convention center. And keep an eye out for New Dimension Comics, who will also be holding a big comic sale at the event.

This is shaping up to be a pretty big party, so if you have a chance, do try to drop in.

Edit: I had planned on writing a review of the show after I had attended, but I covered most of the details in this part. The reception and the show were fantastic. We’ve got loads of talent here in Pittsburgh.
