March’s Spring Moon

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the Old German Moon names put a lot of focus on seasons and holidays. We already saw the “Winter Moon” back in January, now it’s already time for the “Spring Moon,” which comes along right after the Spring Equinox this year.

Here’s my monthly moon sculpt. I think I went hard with this one:

Finally, here’s my sketch. Originally, I had planned on having more flowers, but fewer leaves and no mushrooms. I think it changed for the better.
